Monster Guard: My new game, abreviated MOGU. It's an online massive multiplayer game. Turnbased in php & javascript. Read more about it & play the current version: <a href='http://mogu.gameprogramming.de'>online</a>
StarHeaven: My newest game, which i'm currently working on. Its scheduled for release in Spring 2010. Realtime Strategy without fighting. yes, that's quite possible.
SolSys Cards: A creative take on space exploration: A turnbased cardgame with adaptive music system and a good balance of strategy & tactics and a splice of luck.
MayaNova: Unfinished: a new game i designed from scratch that will be finished in 2009 - or 2010 ;)

PaintVenture: A new engine for text adventures. Well... as you can see, they wont be limited to text only.
PinPinArcade: A new prototype blending billiard, pinball and pachinko using a 2d physics engine.
SquareWorld: Unfinished: Whenever i was anoyed doing whatever i needed to do, i toyed a little bit with this 3d game prototype. In 2010 i want to create a full game with it.
Head to Head: A game prototype i designed and programmed (c++) to showcase my skills for getting a job. It basically works fine, it's just that SDL is to slow for the idea - and thus i did not want to continue.
Alien Archaelogy: A web prototype (php only) with a rather unclear puzzle mechanic. The intention was to make it work on any platform (pc, mac, wii, psp, ps3, xbox360, iphone, etc.). Play the <a href=http://www.gameprogramming.de/renkel/tests/7/'>prototype</a>!
One Kingdom: A good & simple concept of gaining and controling the economy of dukedoms forming a kingsdom. I was unsure where to go from there, a complicated skycity: This prototype is a game in which you build your own city - floating in the sky. I was inspired by - and tried to incorporate - photographs from a huge art object. The game is a

Spacecraft Training Center: At my new daytime-job employer <a href='http://www.vega.de'>Vega</a> i'm working on a software that is used for space agencies and universities in order to teach how to control satellites.
Star Sprites: A realtime 3d viewer for Stars arround the earth. Reading from a database it is trying to give a fealing on the stars visible from the earth.
MultiRocket Library: My thesis on 'scalable MMO Middleware'. I designed and implemented the architecture at Rocket Science Games. (I was told that normaly such a thesis-paper would not be accepted due to it being 3 times more pages than allowed).
SolSys: For a graphics course i collaborated with David Zaadstra to create a small Solar System simulation in OpenGL.
Folding 2D: Folding 2D was a project i did for one of my study courses. It is a implementation of a genetic algorithm that tries to imitate protein folding (super simplified to 2d)

Yoga Site: Website for a yoga teaching friend. Php + Sql + Css programming and layout was faster than it would've taken using html only
Noisefever Website: I created the website (graphics, php/sql implementation) for <a href='http://www.noisefever.de'>Daniel 'Noisefever' Altena</a>
Aquamark 3 - Webdesign: In 2003 we (at Massive) released Aquamark3, where i worked primarily on the web interface.
USF: The Unterhaltungs Software Forum is a non-profit organisation that tried to bring german game developers together. I helped organise the Unterhalunts Software Forum event in 2001 and also did webdesign work and still do administrative taks at <a href='http://www.usf.de'>www.usf.de</a>

Excit 2: Krystian Majewski encouraged me to create new Levels for a sequel to <a href=http://www.ceeu.de/excit/'>Excit</a>.
Rocket Science Games: Zeal joined with Spielkind and transformed into Rocket Science Games (yes, the name did previously already exist). I worked mostly as an assitant to project management, technical artist, game designer and data wizzard.
Games while at Zeal : While studying in Darmstadt i worked parttime at Zeal where i worked on a large amount of games (mainly smaler casual productions).
Excit - Spreadsheet Chaos: Together with Krystian Majewski and Julia Zaadstra we created <a href='http://www.pixer.org/excit/'>Excit</a>. Mostly i did Level Designs.
Aquanox the Angels Tears - Visual Effects: The 98% finished last Massive Game that got never released, contains a huge amount of visual effects i did design as a technical artist (concept, textures, scripting).
Aquanox the Angels Tears - Graphics User Interface: The 98% finished last Massive Game that got never released, contains a huge amount of time i spend with the Graphics User Interfaces. Kudos for most visuals and many concepts go to Andre 'Randis Albion' Weiss.
Aquanox 2: Revelations - Visual Effects: In 2002 i worked for Massive Development as technical artist for <a href='http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/aquanox-2-revelation'>Aquanox 2</a> creating special effects.
Aquanox: I did an internship at Massive Development when they finished and released <a href='http://www.mobygames.com/game/aquanox'>Aquanox</a> (their successor to <a href='http://http://www.mobygames.com/game/archimedean-dynasty'>Archimedean Dynasty</a>).

Aquamark 3 - Wallpapers: In 2003 we (at Massive) released Aquamark3 - the following are wallpapers i designed for the release.
Winter Works: In winter 2002 to 2003 i continued working on minimalism and tried to go a little bit in the direction of the trend-whore 3d style.
Aquanox 2: Revelations - Wallpapers: In 2002 i worked for Massive Development as technical artist for <a href='http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/aquanox-2-revelation'>Aquanox 2</a>. These are wallpapers i created.

Private Works (more): Website designs and 3d experiments.
Private Works: More 2d graphics experiments (Picture Publisher) with photographs not taken by me.
Demo Scene Demo: Plagiat: In order to be able to enlist into KISD (Collogne International School of Design) i made this realtime 3d music video to display my thoughts about plagiarism. From way over 1000 candidates mine was not chosen.
Future Interactive: First tries to create a professional working group of aspiring game developers. Did not work out ;)
Jugend Stil Effects: Image effects manipulation of photographs i took at the <a href='http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jugendstil'>Jugendstil</a> exibition at <a href='http://www.mathildenhoehe.info/'>Darmstadt Mathildenhöhe</a>
Early Steps: My first attempts at understanding visuals related technology ;) Raytracing with <a href='http://www.povray.org/'>Pov-Ray</a>, 2d

Schweibenalp: We were in switzerland (lake brienz). While denise did yoga, i tried to catch the beautiful views with gigabytes.
Botanischer Garten, Darmstadt: The botanical garden in darmstadt is phantastically. It's open to the public, but not well known. Cared for by the biological institute (part of the university) it is a great mixture of useful and beautiful plants, flowers, trees and more.
Panoramas Bad Nauheimer Strasse: Taken arround my new flat.
